Expert Analysis
Matt DeBary | Prep Redzone Scout
Another small-town defensive back with natural playmaking ability, Carroll’s stock is on the rise as he’s having a really productive junior season where he’s made plays in all three phases of the game. He’s a ball-hawk with good size and easy Power Four talent at 5-foot-10 175-pounds. He’s accounted for 726 all-purpose yards this season and has been a game-changer in the secondary, picking off five passes and breaking up five more in coverage while making 23 tackles. He’s one of the top 2028 prospects in the area and should see some significant offers come his way this winter along with a bump in his Prep Redzone ranking.
