has quickly emerged as one of the more complete defensive backs in Georgia, and his recruitment reflects that. Holding SEC offers from programs like the Tennessee Volunteers football, Missouri Tigers football, Texas A&M Aggies football, and Ole Miss Rebels football, Scott has firmly positioned himself as a priority target in the secondary. What separates him is his versatility he can line up at corner, slide to safety, and even impact the game in run support. His instincts and ball skills consistently show up on film, whether he’s breaking on passes, creating turnovers, or locking down receivers in man coverage.
Scott is expected to be very active on the visit circuit this offseason, with multiple SEC programs pushing to get him on campus for spring practices and summer officials. Those visits will be key as he begins to narrow down his list and build stronger relationships with defensive back coaches. As of now, he remains uncommitted, and with his offer list continuing to grow, his recruitment is wide open.
Heading into next season, Scott will be a centerpiece of Toombs County’s defense and one of the top playmakers in the region. With another strong year, he has the potential to not only expand his offer list even further but also elevate into a nationally recognized defensive back prospect.

A versatile defender who can really run and hit from the secondary, Scott tackled behind his pads like a linebacker and was one of the more productive defenders in the region last year, making 90 total tackles. He lived in the backfield too against the run, making an impressive 16 tackles behind the line of scrimmage. He also covers a lot of ground in the back end, breaking up five passes in coverage. He plays hard, can make plays defensively, and can also help on special teams. Easily one of the top small-town defenders in Georgia for the 2027 class, Scott earned a new offer this week from Miami (OH).

A small-town defender on the rise out of Toombs County, Scott is a hard-hitting defender flying under the radar at 5-foot-11 180-pounds. Scott is one of the top returning safeties in the area and is coming off a big sophomore season where he made 83 tackles, 11 TFLs and four forced fumbles while helping out at receiver on offense. His stock is on the rise and he added a new SEC offer from Vanderbilt. As good as he is, more should be coming his way soon.
