Marcus Henry | Prep Redzone Scout
Hauss Henjy is the quarterback leading Aledo High School towards another shot at a state title. He’s known for his composure in the pocket, combining the ability to make plays with his feet and the arm talent to hit targets all over the field. Henjy’s athleticism is remarkable, as he was part of the Aledo 4×200 track team that placed at the championships. With the Bearcats boasting a perfect 6-0 record midway through the season, Henjy’s contributions are undeniable. His future looks bright, having committed to TCU.

Hejny was consistently good in the last two days and while he wasn’t in my top five on day two, he was very good in the pro day workout despite going second to last when the receivers were tired.
The TCU commit was one of the better off-platform throwers on day two and is a good athlete.

Hauss Hejny was not one of the top five quarterbacks on the last two days, but was steadily good and impressed me.
The TCU commit completed 10 of 16 passes for two touchdowns with zero interceptions and zero sacks.

Hejny is a dynamic playmaker with the football in his hands, he makes throws into tight windows with pinpoint accuracy and his has great pocket awareness. Hauss has the arm talent to complete every throw on the route tree, he has the skill set make throws on the hoof and he has elite ball placement. Fitting the football into tight coverage and finding holes in the defense are traits that stick out in his game. Hejny is one of the top dual threat quarterbacks in the country and he morphs into a lethal weapon when he breaks containment into the open field and he can hit the defense for a quick six from anywhere on the football field. Hauss heads into the Elite 11 as one the top names to keep an eye on with chance to bring more championship hardware to Titletown.

Hauss is one the top dual threat quarterbacks in the state of Texas, he is coming off of a state title win with the Aledo Bearcats and committed to the TCU Horned Frogs this month. He is an exceptional talent, who can flat out sling the rock, he has a big arm to push the ball down field, but he completes the short to intermediate routes with precision. Hauss throws well on the move, he can make throws from multiple arm slots and he has the speed and athleticism to make a house call from any distance on the field. Looking for Hauss to do big things this fall to finish out his senior season.

Week 8 against Burleson Centennial, Hejny recorded 435 total yards and 6 touchdowns. He went 12 of 13 with 276 yards passing and 4 touchdowns. Also had 12 carries for 175 yards and 2 touchdowns on the ground. Hejny is a just a Junior at Aledo, shows a high level of maturity and poise under center. Has good patience when sitting in the pocket, also makes good decisions with where to go with the ball. With Aledo running a RPO style offense, Hejny at times keeps the ball, has a shifty and physical running style. Does not shy away from contact and will fight for those extra yards.
