, a senior quarterback at Haslet Eaton High School, is making a strong case for his team’s playoff contention. Lugo’s ability to make timely throws with excellent field vision sets him apart. In 2022, he impressed with 30 touchdown passes and over 2,600 total yards of offense. What’s more, Lugo is not just a pocket passer; he possesses the athleticism to make plays with his feet. Recently committing to BYU, he’s a quarterback to watch for the future.
DJ Bailey, a senior quarterback at Desoto High School, is a force to be reckoned with. Known for his powerful arm and the ability to thread the needle with precision, Bailey has showcased his strength by pushing the ball into tight windows. Now in his third year leading the Desoto offense, his leadership skills are on full display. After an impressive season with over 4,500 passing yards and more than 40 touchdowns, Bailey is determined to lead his team back to a state title. The Sam Houston State commit, has been clicking on all cylinders this season.
Hauss Henjy is the quarterback leading Aledo High School towards another shot at a state title. He’s known for his composure in the pocket, combining the ability to make plays with his feet and the arm talent to hit targets all over the field. Henjy’s athleticism is remarkable, as he was part of the Aledo 4×200 track team that placed at the championships. With the Bearcats boasting a perfect 6-0 record midway through the season, Henjy’s contributions are undeniable. His future looks bright, having committed to TCU.
