The fourth and final defensive lineman who made our initial Top 100 rankings for the class of 2029 in Kentucky is Hagen Samuel Hagen Samuel Hagen Samuel 6'2" | 195 lbs | DL/OL Ashland Blazer | 2029 State KY . Samuel lined up at defensive end as a freshman where he proved to be very reliable against the run. He is explosive out of his stance and is able to use his speed to his advantage to blow by opposing offensive linemen with ease on his way to the ball carrier. Once he gets to the ball carrier, Samuel does a great job of running his feet through contact to finish the tackle quickly and not allow any extra yards to be gained. Hagen is another defensive lineman who I’m excited to see develop over the next few seasons.

The post-season of the Ashland prospect reads like a college submission form: Selected for the KYMSFA All-Star Classic, showed off his power by earning All-Star Classic Combine-bests in the Power Bell and Broad Jump. Then finished second in the state wrestling tournament at 185-pounds.
