How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
Smart, aggressive, nose for the ball, always hustling on every play.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I will do everything I can to outwork my opponent as well as prepare myself mentally and physically for every time I take the field. For me this is done in the weight room, film room, and in all my off season preparation. I'm focused and driven to be the best I can be on and off the field.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I'm an active member in FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) at my high school. I'm also very involved in my church. I've earned distinguished honors in each of my high school quarters in my freshman year and also so far in my sophomore year.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I believe I'm a good leader. I was named a game captain by my coaches in just my second game as a varsity starter this past season as a sophomore. I'm also active in several community service activities that are run through my football team and church.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
My brother was diagnosed with cancer when I was in 8th grade. That hit me pretty hard and it was certainly a challenge to stay strong for him and my family. Watching him battle cancer was very hard but watching him battle helped me to know that staying strong and staying positive can go a long way in life. He beat cancer and that was so awesome to see.
What type of college are you looking for?
I'm looking for a college that is best for me academically. I'm not sure what I want to study yet but I know I want to get a great education. I hope I can do that and play football too. I'd like to stay in the east but am open to other options.
