Hodge is PRZ’s top ranked newcomer in the recent 2027 update landing at #51 overall and the thirteenth ranked DL. 6’5” 245 lbs. he’s got ideal excellent size, length, and frame for a D1 edge prospect. Not often do you see a player of his size with his type of movement skills and athleticism. He fires off the ball with explosive first-step quickness and accelerates well to consistently beat blockers around the edge. His lateral agility and ability to change direction allow him to redirect in the short area and close on the ball quickly. Sets the edge well by establishing positional leverage and using his hands to engage, separate, and stack blockers at the POA. He’s a violent, high impact tackler who finishes through contact and plays with a physical edge. Recruitment has continued to progress this off season and expect to continue to rise as he showcases his skillset.
