Stephen has been having a very busy off-season to this point, and has seen some offers come in from the likes of SJSU, Sac State and Colorado State as he moves into his Junior season. He is a very heavy handed and explosive interior prospect that has the ideal length for the P4 level inside and should see plenty of other schools come his way in the coming months. Checking into our ranks as a top 20 player at his position in a loaded position class, his stock should continue to rise through his Junior year.

Stephen is another one of the top interior defenders across Northern California regardless of class and had a dominating state title winning sophomore season for the Grant Pacers. He has the ideal build for the 0-2 tech spot inside and carries no bad weight while extremely violent and strong at the point of attack through his hips and hands. He does a good job with his initial strike and lockout while winning with leverage and power when defending the run. He shows he can take on double teams and reset the line of scrimmage quickly while also adding an interior pass rush as well. He’s another prospect that should continue to see his stock soar through his Junior year and will no doubt start collecting offers sooner rather than later. He currently holds two early offers from Colorado State and Sacramento State.

Stephen is a true plug in the middle of the Pacer defense, and already has tons of varsity experience going into his second season. He is an explosive player off the ball, heavy inside hands and creates immediate knock-back while able to rush the passer from the inside and has a powerful lower half. He is a balanced player that plays way above his age, and is well-put together kid that will be one of the top defensive linemen across the section this Fall.
