Expert Analysis

Edwards is one of the more freaky athletes across the country, and one of the top players in the state regardless of class. He is a very balanced tight end prospect that can stretch the field, has a huge catch radius and can easily win on 5/50 balls with body control and high-point abilities in traffic. A very smooth and fluid athlete especially for his size, his commitment will be one to watch over the next 18 months and he should have a monster Junior season for the Pacers. He currently holds 23 offers.

Edwards moves up a hand full of spots to #6 and is the #1 ranked TE in the 2027 class. 6’6” 215 lbs. he’s the former basketball player that college football programs love to transition to a TE. He’s got the athleticism, body control, and hands to be an excellent receiving threat showing he can adjust to off target throws and extend outside his framework to play the ball in the air. Long strider that runs well to push vertically and extend gains after the catch. 23 offers and is one of the most highly recruited TE’s in the country.

Edwards is one of the top 2027 tight ends in the entire country, and will be one of the more sought after kids nationally over the next couple of years. He has recently picked up offers from Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Nevada and Stanford, and is up to 15 offers and counting heading into his Junior year. The State Champion and Grant Union product should be a 30+ offer guy by the time it’s all said and done and is already a national recruit.

Edwards is a no brainer national recruit that should be one of the top tight ends in the nation by the time we enter into next Fall. He has elite size, fluidity and athleticism and is a natural pass catcher with tremendous upside in college. The 6’6 tight end picked up offers from SDSU, Oregon and ASU in recent weeks and should get plenty more over the next few months.
