Moorefield has been making some noise early this season after a few down years, and the play up front has been at the forefront of that success through the first three games. 2029 OL/DL Gage Baker sets the tone up front on both sides of the line and is playing well as a sophomore. He’s very strong for his age, but he also has the athleticism to execute the Yellow Jackets’ Wing-T blocks at a high level. Baker has always had an obvious nasty streak to his game, something that showed up as a freshman, and being another year bigger and stronger has taken his physicality to another level. He’s a young building block up front for Moorefield and a name to know in their talented 2029 class.
