2029 ATH Edison Metheny had a coming-out party last week against Hampshire with a huge two-way performance for Moorefield and is a name to know moving forward. He recorded three interceptions on defense while adding two explosive touchdowns on offense, including an 85-yard rushing touchdown and a 45-yard receiving touchdown. Metheny is a bright young playmaker in a Yellow Jackets program that’s shaping up to have a loaded 2029 class. His fluid athleticism was on full display last week as a smaller but dynamic athlete. His two-way playmaking ability and last week’s impressive showing should give him plenty of momentum heading into the rest of the season.
