The Yellow Jackets had a small senior class last year, leaving plenty of younger players with valuable experience as they move forward. That youth remains a major part of the roster heading into 2026, giving Moorefield a group that should be more prepared after getting varsity experience a year ago. The Yellow Jackets have a promising sophomore group and a talented freshman class, while a strong middle school program gives the program reason to feel good about its future. Several of those sophomores already saw significant varsity action last season and will now be asked to take on even larger roles. Davis put together a strong junior campaign and proved he could be a reliable option for the Yellow Jackets, then spent the offseason attending camps and putting in additional work on his craft. That extra work should show as he enters his senior year as an improved speciliast. Foo has the athleticism to fly around on defense while also giving Moorefield another speedy option on offense. Abreu started on both sides of the ball as a sophomore and is expected to handle those same responsibilities again as a junior, bringing a strong 6'2 280 frame to the trenches. Iman contributed at mutiple positions on both sides of the ball last season, but his versatility will expand even further as he prepares to take over at quarterback. He has the size and athleticism to impact the game in a variety of ways, while linebacker remains the position where we see his highest long-term ceiling. Baker more than held his own on the offensive and defensive lines, showing a physical mindset that stood out for a young player. His frame still has plenty of room to fill out, but the toughness and willingness to finish blocks are already there. Baker plays with an edge and brings the kind of competitive attitude that makes him a tone-setter up front.
