When there’s a 2,000-yard rusher headed to Iowa State on the roster, the other running backs fill in around the star. Fierce did that and then some as a junior in 2024. He rushed for 334 yards (7.8 YPC) and three touchdowns. On defense, he collected 22.0 tackles (18 solo). Fierce also returned one punt and one kick, each a 27-yard gain. His athleticism and broad set of skills shine through during his 11th-grade highlight video. With a bigger role in the offensive backfield expected, Fierce’s statistics should rise. He’s a smooth, patient runner that can get to the edge or bust it up inside. As a safety, Fierce covers well and will put a hit on the ball carrier.
