Fierce was an integral part of the Tigers advancing to the 4A quarterfinals last season, where they lost, 19-14, to eventual finalist, Pella. A two-way contributor, Fierce rushed 334 yards (7.8 YPC) and three touchdowns, and delivered 22.0 tackles (18 solo) and a fumble recovery. We see how he operated during his junior highlight video. The first few clips show him as a lead blocker springing teammates for long runs. He also looks natural carrying the ball, running patiently and then hitting the jets into daylight. Fierce might best fit on defense at the next level, where he diagnoses plays quickly and flies to the football. He’s a technically sound tackler with some thump.
