Eric Kenesie Eric Kenesie 5'11" | 160 lbs | DB St. Joseph Catholic Academy | 2024 State WI is currently tearing up gyms on the basketball court, but this fall he was locking down receivers on the gridiron. Eric is a high IQ safety who made a lot of plays because of how quickly he could read the react. His speed gives him a major boost too, giving his DC the chance to play single high with him roaming the back half of the defense. The senior also has natural ball skills and is dangerous as a returner of INTs and punts. Kenesie should have options to play basketball or football at the next level. Don’t sleep on him any longer. St. Joseph Catholic Academy has an exciting talent at the QB position. He fits the mold of a dual threat athlete, and he has such an explosiveness and quick twitch to his play on the ground that he could help a team at more than just QB. Put him in positions where he can get the ball in space and he will be able to hurt a defense. Or let him line up at DB and use that effective change of direction to run with WRs in man coverage. A team can be creative in finding ways for him to fit their team. Eric has an offer from Valpo, and is also a talented basketball player.

The 5’11” 160 lbs junior lines up at QB, but fits more in the ATH category. Eric is a solid athlete, and does a big part of his damage to defenses on the ground. Kenesie has solid vision, and short area agility that allows him to juke and cut away from defenders. The three sport athlete also has the long speed to turn green grass into big plays. His athleticism is next level quality, and his intelligence/decision making has also led to big plays. Eric knows how to use the play design to his advantage when the play breaks down. He also has experience at DB. There are a lot of roles that Eric can step into at the next level. RB/DB/WR could all be an option.
