He ended the season with 29 tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, 2 interceptions, a forced fumble, and six pass breakups. During the season, he showcased his ability to jump routes, break off his receiver and lay big hits on ball carriers, as well as being a physical run-stopper along the edge of the field. Jones is very rangy, and though his style is unorthodox, he’s effective when the ball is thrown toward him or when the ball carrier is coming his way.
