is headed to the next level as he signed with Tulsa during the early signing period. Green played for a Classen program that has struggled over the last few seasons but that didn’t mean he was hiding under a rock. College coaches took notice of him and despite the team struggles, he was on their radar and his recruitment took off during the offseason between his junior and senior seasons. Green is an athletic wide receiver that can do a lot of things well at the next level. We’re looking forward to seeing how much playing time he receives early on.

has done just about everything he can do on the football field for the Comets this season. Not only is he one of the top wide receivers in his class, but he’s committed to Tulsa and will more than likely be on the defensive side of the ball. He’s come down with several interceptions this season as a ball hawk defensive back. As Classen got into district play, Green would impact the game in multiple ways on offense. From lining up as a running back and finishing a game with 20+ carries to tossing touchdown passes, Green has done a little bit of everything. Now, we still have Green listed as a wide receiver because he has been a star on the offensive side of the ball. But in our last update in January, his position will more than likely move to DB.

was during our last ranking update back in January. We just came off seeing Green in person at a 7v7 tryout down at the C4 compound in Durant and he was impressive during that afternoon. Then we got a chance to see him a handful of times in 7v7 tournaments against other strong competition and he continued to show that he’s one of the more dangerous wide receivers in the state’s 2024 class. His recruitment really started to pick up towards the end of his junior season and we think when you look at the 2024 class, he’s definitely in the conversation for the best of the bunch when you’re talking about offensive playmakers. Green had a really good offseason and does a lot of things incredibly well. From route running, to sure hands at the point of attack, Green showcased a lot of skills that gave opposing defenses a lot of problems this spring.

and he’s going to give them a big play threat at the wide receiver position. Green has received power five offers and his recruitment feels like it’s about to explode this spring and summer. Green is one of the more underrated playmakers in the state’s 2024 class. He doesn’t get as much credit as he deserves but that is going to be changing this year. Green is an outstanding athlete who catches just about everything that’s thrown his way.

. He might be flying under the radar right now because Classen has had their struggles on the field. But it hasn’t slowed down his recruitment and in fact, it should be getting ready to blow up. Green has already received interest and more importantly he’s received offers from power five programs and that should just be the start. We got our first chance to see Green in person about a month ago and he’s a very impressive athlete. He has very consistent hands as he caught almost everything thrown his way at a tryout and workout for C4’s 7v7 team down in Durant. Green is definitely an established playmaker on the offensive side of the ball and he’s somebody to look out for this spring and summer. As he continues to work with Sean Cooper’s group in southern Oklahoma, the exposure is going to come very quickly.

A pretty consistent theme whenever we do a ranking update and have the top newcomers is that some of these dudes should have been ranked in the last update. That’s the case here with Classen wide receiver

. This is a perfect example of how sometimes rankings aren’t perfect and players just slip through the cracks. We knew about Green prior to the June update but forgot to include him. That’s on us! But Green has emerged as a legitimate D1 prospect and could even be considered a Power Five prospect moving forward. Green is a very athletic prospect that appears to be at his best as a wide receiver prospect and playmaker on the offensive side of the ball. Green has been a player to watch over the last six months from having a strong offseason to what he’s been able to do this season. Classen has struggled throughout the year but Green has still established himself as a prospect you need to know.
