Great size at 6-foot-4 and 235-pounds headlines what is a lot of untapped potential for Johnson in my opinion. Has great length as well and still has plenty of room to fill into his frame as well. He’s a bit raw but has a nice first step and is already a quality pass rusher. He may be a passing rushing specialist at the enxt level int hat regard but there’s plenty of potential in Johnson if someone is willing to give him the patience.

At 6’4 235, Johnson has the length and athleticism that you’re looking for in a defensive end and still has room to get bigger and stronger. Johnson is really quick off the end and his pass-rushing abilities have gotten much better. He’s farther ahead in that aspect of the game than run defense but he’s shown the ability to stop the run too on film. They’ll line him up over the offensive tackle and shade him inside at times but I feel he’s at his best as a 5-tech where he can tee off on the tackle one-on-one.

Johnson is a long and athletic defensive end at 6’4 235 and the ceiling is very high for him. You can imagine him getting into that 250-260 pound range and being a terror on the end in college. Johnson is a raw talent right now but once he develops and learns how to fully utilize his size and athleticism watch out. We ranked Johnson as the #8 defensive lineman in the 2024 class and that number could really increase with a big senior season.
