2028 Hedgesville OL Liam Foote is a good example of a player whose film outweighs concerns about measurables. His 5’11 230 size is the biggest factor limiting his projection right now, but his sophomore tape showed a player who can play. Foote moves well for an offensive lineman and was frequently asked to pull and operate in space, where he consistently got to his landmarks and executed his assignments. He was particularly effective as a lead blocker, showing the ability to get out in front of the play and create running lanes. Foote also plays with physicality at the point of attack to hold his own despite giving up size to some opponents. He was one of the more enjoyable linemen to watch on film because of how active he is within the offense. If Foote continues to add size and strength over the next two years, his ceiling will only continue to rise.

2028 Hedgesville OL Liam Foote Liam Foote 5'11" | 230 lbs | OL Hedgesville | 2028 State WV isn’t the biggest lineman at 5’11, 230, but he’s one of the more productive players up front for the Eagles. Foote plays with an edge and brings a level of physicality you have to have at that size. He shows good short-area quickness as a pulling guard, and Foote is comfortable getting out in space and climbing to the second level to find work. The effort stands out right away on tape. Foote plays hard, finishes blocks, and competes through the whistle. For a young player, Foote is a strong athlete who isn’t afraid to mix it up and has shown he can get bigger defensive linemen on the ground. There’s a lot to build on here, and Foote feels like a player who will keep trending up as he develops physically.
