Woodrow Wilson’s Drake Bowling Drake Bowling 6'0" | 250 lbs | DL Woodrow Wilson | 2025 State WV has competed at PRZ camps before and is a talented defensive lineman in his own right who was deserving of a mention with the best of the rest. He may not have had the amount of length as some of the other defensive linemen at the Combine, but Bowling is a strong and physical athlete who should be a productive interior lineman at the next level. Bowling has a compact and strong build that makes him a tough block for guards and centers. He’s someone who can show what he can do on a bigger scale during a real game when there’s a running game to stop but does have the ability to rush the passer in a 1-on-1 setting.

Bowling is the type of defensive lineman who can take on double teams and stuff the run in the interior but flashes the ability to leak into the backfield and harass the passer at times too.

Bowling was a top performer at our Ohio Stock Up Showcase Tour back in January where he impressed our scouts. A touch undersized at 6’0 250 for an interior lineman, Bowling makes up for it with physical strength and power and is someone who spends ample time in the weight room. Bowling is a highly physical player who is a havoc creator in the interior that can disrupt running lanes. He sees time along the offensive line too for the Flying Eagles but we really like his potential and future as a defensive lineman. I think he has a chance to climb up our rankings with a strong senior season and as he continues to build off of the success he had as a junior and throughout the off-season so far.

Drake Bowling had a quality showcase putting his strength and flexibility on full display. A powerful pass rusher thanks to above average strength in his upper body to drive offensive linemen backwards. Good size drive under pad height and control his opponent. Bowling looked impressive in the pass rush drills which was good enough to get him in the top performers from the camp. Explosive lower body to reach full extension for dynamic control and block shedding. Good arm length to wrap up tacklers. Bowling had a nice day in all of his drills as an impressive player headed into his senior year.
