Dorrien demonstrated the ability to effectively blitz from the strong safety position off the edge. He’s an instinctive player capable of making big plays. He runs the alley with bad intentions and is a skilled open-field tackler. He has natural abilities in man coverage and good ball skills. He displayed good hip movement in man coverage during his interception return for a touchdown. He’s competitive in coverage and does a good job of contesting the ball. Dorrien exhibited his speed and playmaking abilities on long catch-and-run plays at wide receiver. I believe Tate is capable of playing safety at the MAC or FCS levels.
