One of the highest-ranking prospects on this list, one apparently without an offer to his name. I’d say there isn’t a better tape in the state to plug in if you’re a coach looking to be the first to offer an IDL. Imhotep’s David Johnson David Johnson 6’0″ | 265 lbs | DL Imhotep Charter | 2024 State PA is currently visiting the University of Delaware, a great fit. I’ll have my eyes peeled for any announcements out of the 6’0, 260 IDL.
Dylan Callaghan Crolley, as well as myself, has written on Woodland Hills’ Cruz McMillan Cruz McMillan 6’5″ | DL Woodland Hills | 2024 PA multiple times within the past two months. Gauging what’s happening around McMillan is tough because of inactivity on Twitter. All Prep Redzone scouts in PA have identified the young man as a prospect to watch during this Summer camp circuit. If David Johnson David Johnson 6’0″ | 265 lbs | DL Imhotep Charter | 2024 State PA is a prime IDL prospect, McMillan is a premier unoffered EDGE prospect.
Someone is going to fall in love with a Philip Tabasso Philip Tabasso 6’2″ | 285 lbs | DL Malvern Prep | 2024 State PA performance at camp this Summer, which could lead to an offer for the Malvern Prep senior. Tabasso is another kid who shouldn’t worry too much about potential opportunities presenting themselves before August. He’s surely going to get his. This offseason should be about solidifying his craft, as well as building relationships on these trips to campuses. Tabasso and his family have a clear emphasis on the Ivy League, as Tabasso is on the verge of visiting UPenn, Dartmouth, Brown, and Cornell all within a month’s span. I know those programs are going to love what Tabasso brings to the table.

A top-five unoffered IDL. Plenty of eyes will be on the Haverford School prospects all Fall long, I imagine Michael Barnes-Pace Michael Barnes-Pace 6’1″ | 240 lbs | DL The Haverford School | 2024 State PA will make the most of his future opportunities in September. That being said, Barnes-Pace is currently in the business of showcasing his skillset to potential collegiate suitors. As I’ve stated in numerous previous posts, Barnes-Pace is going to win with his tape, doesn’t mean I would be surprised if he heard back from coaches this month. He’ll be brought up when coaches ask me about IDL in and around Philly.
Linebackers
Productive and versatile. Anyone reading my posts on Upper Dublin’s Shyne Roberts Shyne Roberts 6’1″ | 210 lbs | LB Upper Dublin | 2024 State PA knows what he brings to the table, position versatility and tangible production. One of the four top 100 prospects on the list, I’ll keep my eyes peeled each week to see if any schools pull the trigger. EDGE/OLB/MLB/RB capable.
Very excited to rerank this young man, he will more than likely become the new top linebacker currently unoffered. This large jump coming after talking to numerous coaches and staff at the next level, all of whom speak highly of the Imhotep backer. The top-200 rank deems Raheem Reid Raheem Reid 6’2″ | 220 lbs | LB Imhotep Charter | 2024 State PA as a D1 eligible prospect, yet I’m hearing the young man is squarely on FCS programs radar. He was recently the buzz of the Imhotep Showcase held last month at Hunting Park. There isn’t a level of football that could offer Reid and I’d be surprised at this point. Just a matter of time.
We’ve covered Ephrata’s Quintin Pfautz Quintin Pfautz 6’3″ | 210 lbs | LB Ephrata | 2024 State PA quite a few times since his standout performance at our PA camp this past month. The senior linebacker now finds himself as among a group of the state’s best unoffered prospects. Again, much like many listed above, Pfautz securing opportunities to play at the next level will come, just a matter of what level, what fit is best, and when? I don’t have those answers, yet Pfautz is making sure as many coaches catch wind of his game as possible.

No Twitter Activity in much of April, May, or June out of Malvern Prep’s Chris Lake Chris Lake 6’4″ | 200 lbs | LB Malvern Prep | 2024 State PA . For all I know, the 6’4, 200-pound OLB/WR prospect could have numerous offers to his name. His potential warrants such opportunities, yet I’m in the dark as of right now. I have thrown around Chris Lake Chris Lake 6’4″ | 200 lbs | LB Malvern Prep | 2024 State PA ‘s name to many in my circle, with positive feedback always bouncing back. There’s a lot to like on tape and in a camp setting. He’s a prime candidate to wow coaches in person if he’s camping this offseason.
Defensive Backs
Limited tape might hurt Keon Powell Keon Powell 6’1″ | 180 lbs | DB Cardinal O’Hara | 2024 State PA ‘s chances of securing off-season opportunities. Should hardly be a worry of his. He’s going to need to control what he can control, that being working hard to get back to form, following the lead of the SJP coaching staff. All of this being said, coaches looking for a DB cannot forget about this young man. Self-listed 6’1, 180, you can take a peek into his off-season through his Hudl, which has workout and 7v7 coverage featuring Powell. Advanced development should intrigue coaches, as well as his reps from last Fall.

Currently unranked, Belal Abdelrahman Belal Abdelrahman 6’1″ | 170 lbs | ATH Spring-Ford | 2024 State PA ‘s placement among this group should send a good message as to where I think he’ll rank in this coming update. Could be designated as an “ATH” for his work on both sides of the ball, yet I’m enamored with his presence and feel for the DB/S position. 6’1, 170-pound frame that can move like a wideout, a future complete evaluation for Spring-Ford’s two-way prospect will come. For now, he’s unoffered and deserves a few more looks.
Much like Abdelrahman, Zyan Howard Zyan Howard 5’10” | 165 lbs | DB Canon-McMillan | 2024 State PA ‘s a complete weapon deployed by Canon McMillan. That being said, I like him as one of the state’s best unoffered defensive backs. 5’9-5’10, plenty of quality PBUs on tape. A forceful attitude and approach on the field makes up for any potential height deficiencies. Can run and locate, can diagnose passing concepts, always where he needs to be as an outside lane CB. Annoying, pesky hands, the rest of his athleticism shows up when watching him work on offense/special teams. Fun tape.
Awesome production currently sits as one of the highest-rated defensive backs without an offer. Many boxes checked off by North Schuylkill’s Collin McGee Collin McGee 6’2″ | 205 lbs | DB North Schuylkill | 2024 State PA . I’m still unsure of his potential movement on our lists after this coming ranking update. One thing’s for sure, I still mention his name to coaches who ask me for big, long defensive backs. Love how active McGee has been across the state this Spring/Summer. Holy Cross and Colgate coaching staffs will come across his 6’2 frame at camps in July, with McGee visiting Lehigh University at the end of this month.

Athletes
The highest-ranking prospect on this defensive team, with not much intention of dropping him after this coming July update. Bald Eagle’s Camron Watkins Camron Watkins 6’2″ | 190 lbs | ATH Bald Eagle Area | 2024 State PA , along with his incredibly versatile skillset, should be a name FCS coaches have on radar. We might be waiting on the snowball effect to happen with Watkins. Many teams could have him on the board, yet it might take one or two schools to show intentions first. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Watkins blow up before the Fall season ends.
Ranks right behind Watkins, again, not much reason to drop this kid after this upcoming update. The athlete is likely to see love at WR, as coaches I’ve gauged like him to transition to that position full-time. His quarterback play shouldn’t be shrugged off, said play led Union Area minutes away from a State Title last December. The young man boasts a 11.1 100M time, while also claiming punting/kicking abilities to his name. There’s a lot to unpack when plugging in this kid’s tape. Still unoffered.
Two-sport athlete, 3.5 GPA, currently unoffered, 6’1, 175-pound wideout/DB at Our Lady of Sacred Heart. The type of athlete that will more than likely wow in pads and on tape over wowing in camp settings. His 7-minute tape will surely have coaches understanding why we like him as a top-150 athlete in his class. Interested in the type of weight he might be putting on. Betting on a future at SWR/X.
I mention this young man to coaches recruiting the Inter-Ac and many haven’t heard of him. That’s got to change. Ijaaz Abdul-Malik Ijaaz Abdul-Malik 6’2″ | 205 lbs | ATH Episcopal Academy | 2024 State PA , a true 6’2, 205-pound do-it-all prospect out of Episcopal Academy, is primed to break out this coming Fall. I imagine he’s wowing in camps, even if he isn’t, IAM is on my list of candidates to up their stock early this Fall. I’m expecting his production to shoot through the roof. Boasts a 3.7 GPA, while conveying quality reps at WR and LB. Projects as a promising LB. Currently unoffered.

10.95 100M dash, 22.3 200M dash, we know speed is Xavier Diaz Xavier Diaz 5’9″ | 145 lbs | ATH Mount Carmel | 2024 State PA ‘s game. That being said, colleges have been relatively slow to offer the young man out of Mount Carmel. There is a real chance that Diaz sees track opportunities before anything, the kid is a real star on the lanes. We ranked Diaz inside the top 200 for a reason, he can move on the field too. Running well at camps could bolster his stock quickly. Unsure if he’s camping since track meets might take priority.
