Lewis had a phenomenal 2023 season debut against St. John’s, completing 19-29 passes for 382 yards with 4 touchdowns. Donte put in work on the ground rushing for 117 yards and 2 touchdowns in a 63-49 win. Lewis is a threat through the air and on the ground, who can beat you with his quick release or his nifty footwork when he breaks containment. Donte sees the field well, he keeps his vision on his target while going through his progressions and he has the arm strength to make all of the throws on the route tree. Lewis a dynamic athlete, who has committed to Kansas State to play baseball, but as the season progresses, collegiate programs will drop offers for football as well. Donte showed that he has the Star Power to carry St. Thomas on another deep playoff run in 2023.
