All of these players have experience under their belts and know what it takes to win. It is the position that gets the most love and criticism, and the players below have gone out and done their jobs, and have done their best to put the teams in position to succeed. We look forward to seeing not only what they will do in their senior seasons, but beyond that as well!
Parks can stand tall in the pocket and deliver a beauty of a deep ball even when facing pressure. At 6’2, he sees over his line and makes accurate throws to his targets and is very good at hitting them in stride. A big part of Parks game is his ability to run. He can maneuver out of the pocket and find his receivers on the run, and can also take off himself for big yards. Parks can keep plays alive with his mobility and has the awareness to climb the pocket rather than sit back. He showed very good placement on his throws and a good zip that got the ball to the target quickly. Parks finished his junior season throwing for 2,533 yards and 31 touchdowns on 68% completion, and ran for 825 yards and 13 touchdowns. The Western Kentucky commit will be something to watch next season.
Highlights
Braylon Scott
Braylon Scott
Scott excels at throwing outside of the hashes and has a nice touch on his deep ball. He gets it out in a hurry and is very precise when going long. He will withstand the pressure in his face and deliver a pass right in the basket of his receivers. He is very consistent on passes and puts it only where his guys can get it. Scott also happens to be a dangerous runner when he needs to be. He is elusive in space and can take off when nothing is presented down the field. He has a good feel for the game was awarded Newcomer of the Year last season for his play. Scott threw for 1,510 yards and 14 touchdowns, and ran for 500 yards and 7 touchdowns. We know he has been putting in the work this off season preparing to reach another level for his senior year.
If you want to see talent, look no further. Lewis is a special player at the position and with the flick off the wrist can make a stadium go crazy. Pure arm talent, Lewis can make just about any throw at crazy angles. The power is eye popping and the ability to put it on the money is a sight to see. Lewis is a playmaker who makes it happen with his arm and legs. He navigates in the pocket, extending plays, and has the ability to run and deflate a defensive by gaining big yards on a scramble. You cannot speak enough of what Lewis brings to the field and what he does to help put his team in position to succeed. Lewis has a bright future in the game and we expect him to only get better.
The Texas commit showed out for his junior season, gaining the attention from many people. He went into the season on a mission and he did not disappoint. Owens arm talent is one of the best in the area, with the ability to fit passes into tight windows and effortlessly get it down the field. At 6’5, Owens has little to no problem seeing the field, and can hit his targets where they can only get it. Owens showed good footwork, climbing the pocket and getting out when necessary, and more importantly keeping his eyes down the field. He showed his strength in play action, rolling out and getting his shoulders turned, then ripping the ball to his open targets. Owens finished his junior season passing for 3,057 yards and 34 touchdowns.

Willetts has progressed year after year and we expect no different from him for his senior year. Last season Willetts threw for 2,245 yards and 26 touchdowns, showing his deep ball accuracy, patience in the pocket to make big throws, and ability to move and escape out of the pocket. Willetts shows dual threat capabilities and plays with physicality. You can see that he loves to compete and lets the skills do the talking. He is primed for another leap in his game and a very good senior season.
Highlights
Chenier plays cool and collected, and at his own pace where he can dictate a game. He throws the ball with good touch and placement, especially down the seam. Chenier can get the ball out quick with no hesitation and with good accuracy. He stands tall while facing pressure and delivers catchable passes to his targets. Chenier has a smooth game to him and can only get better from here. He finished last season throwing for 1,538 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Landon Vessel
Landon Vessel
Vessel is a tough playmaker who welcomes contact at the position. He plays with much physicality, but we cannot let that distract us from the fact that he can sling the ball. Vessel has very good zip on his passes and can drop it in a bucket. He is quick on his throws and if it is not open, he will extend plays with his legs and make something out of nothing. Vessel does a great job of leading his receivers into open areas and hitting them within their radius. He finished the year with 2,000 passing yards and 15 touchdowns. Vessel will be looked upon to be one of the top guys again and we know he is ready for the challenge.
