Ben is a tight end who can bring a lot of value to an offense with his ability to work in the passing game and help out up front. One thing I like about his game is how he can use his size to his advantage when defenders try to get physical with him. He can fight through contact while running his routes and put himself in a good position to make catches, especially when working in tighter areas of the field. I also like how he can be a factor in the red zone, where having a bigger target gives the quarterback another option when space becomes limited. As a blocker, Ben has the opportunity to make an impact by getting into defenders, maintaining his leverage, and helping open up running lanes. He’s a TE who can give an offense different looks without having to come off the field, and that’s something I like about his potential as he continues developing.
Ben was a nightmare matchup in the opener, finishing with 165 yards and 2 touchdowns through the air. He showed the ability to stretch the field and turn a routine pass into a major gain, giving the defense plenty to worry about. His production was a big reason the offense was able to generate explosive plays, and Ben has already put together a performance worth remembering.
Ben is one of those steady, dependable tight ends who brings value in every phase of the game. He’s physical as a blocker and doesn’t shy away from lining up in-line and handling defensive ends or linebackers at the point of attack. That willingness in the run game already makes him a coach’s favorite because he helps set the tone up front.
On the receiving side, he’s just as reliable. Ben shows sure hands and does a good job finishing plays when the ball comes his way, especially on short to intermediate routes. He’s not flashy, but he’s efficient — he understands spacing and knows how to present a clean target for his quarterback. Ben is a TE to look forward too in 2026.
Ben uses his size and athleticism to create mismatches in the passing game, consistently winning contested catches and showing reliable hands. He moves fluidly in routes, tracks the ball well, and turns short gains into extra yards. In the run game, Ben drives defenders off the line and sustains blocks with technique and effort, showing versatility as both a blocker and receiver
