He lines up at outside linebacker where he is very disruptive off the edge, whether it is against the run or as a pass rusher. Sutton is very explosive out of his stance and uses his speed to burst into the backfield before opposing offensive tackles have a chance to get there. He does a great job of finishing once he gets to the ball carrier/quarterback, leading his team with 31 tackles along with 12 tackles for loss and five sacks through the first five weeks of the season. Donee has also scored one rushing touchdown this season. Sutton currently holds an offer from Pikeville and I expect more to come his way during his senior year.

Sutton lined up at outside linebacker where he was dominant as a pass rusher in Atherton’s Week 1 win over Central Hardin. He was able to use his speed to blow by opposing offensive tackles with ease off the edge. Sutton finished the game with two sacks. He also showed the ability to stop the run, using his strength to stack/shed blocks with ease then his speed to get to the ball carrier in a hurry to make the tackle. Donee finished the game with a team-high eight tackles and four tackles for loss. Sutton currently holds an offer from Pikeville and I wouldn’t be surprised to see more come his way soon.

Sutton lined up at inside linebacker this past season where he was very impressive against the run. He read his keys quickly then explodes downhill out of his stance to get to the ball carrier before they can get going. Once he gets to the ball carrier, he runs his feet through contact to secure the tackle. Sutton finished his junior year with 85 tackles and nine tackles for loss in 13 games. He also showed the ability to put pressure on the quarterback, finishing the season with three sacks. Donee doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is definitely a player who colleges coaches should have their eyes on heading into his senior year.

Sutton catches my attention with his explosive speed at the line of scrimmage and his ability to quickly overpower his opponent. I also like Sutton’s ability to apply pressure on the quarterback and cause chaos for the offensive line. Sutton also showcased his ability to pierce the pocket and sack the gunslinger in crucial moments.
