A true lockdown corner who has the versatility to play both corner and safety. In pass coverage, he has exceptional range to cover the entire field. He gives a firm jam at the line of scrimmage in man coverage. Reid has shown lining up as a box linebacker in the matchup against Milton Academy.

After coming over from Atherton, Grayden Reid has made an immediate impact at Tabor Academy Secondary. Reid is a physical player who brings instincts and intelligence. Reid consistently sticks his nose in and makes tackles all over the field as a corner. Reid has elite closing speed when making plays with his ball skills, as noted in the pick-six against The Governors Academy.

Evaluation: Tall, lean, built frame who brings a ton of speed and athleticism. Versatility to return kicks. He has a knack for stepping up and making tackles in run support, thanks to his heavy-hitting ability. Super physical in man coverage, where he is as sticky as glue. He brings top-notch closing speed when making plays on the ball carrier. As a returner, he needs to trust his blocks to develop and have spatial awareness. Needs to make better decisions on when to let the ball go out of bounds.
