Princeton is known for having a fast and physical defense. Jeffries definitely fits that mold. He runs the alleys well and also has the vision and footwork to get through the wash. Derrick also shows the ability to affect the quarterback when he shoots the gaps as a blitzer. He has the thick and compact build you look for from an inside linebacker. I like the athleticism and speed Jeffries plays with and at, if he can play a little more physical in the run game he really has a chance to take his game to another level.
