Roscoe has a very good motor and great closing speed from his perch at safety. Roscoe is also a running back who can run through contact, finish forward, and be explosive in space with the ball in his hands. The team also utilizes him as an inside receiver and he can be very shifty in space behind the line of scrimmage, making defenders miss. High-impact prospect with a high ceiling.

On defense, he’s a rangy safety who can cover a ton of ground in a hurry. He takes strong angles to the football and delivers big hits — receivers definitely need to keep their head on a swivel when he’s in the area.

As strong as he is defensively, I believe he may have even more upside on offense at running back. De’Quane is an explosive runner who gets to top speed quickly. He has a sharp jump cut that’s lethal in the open field. He runs with strength between the tackles but also has the speed to bounce it outside and create chunk plays.

Though Roscoe has had to wait his turn, I’m excited to see what he puts on film this fall for the Irish.
