Expert Analysis
Tyler Stevens | Prep Redzone Scout
Koback has been a riser throughout the offseason. He can flex between guard and tackle. He’s a great pass protector and is strong to contact with a great anchor. He can win against both power and speed, as he is a great mover and has good footwork. With more reps this season, Koback can flirt with P4 offers based on size and current skillset.

I first had a chance to see Max at our winter showcase in January. He had an impressive day winning the camp MVP. He didn’t lose a rep on the day. Max already possesses a good length and a strong frame. I think Max could play either tackle or guard, but at this point I like him more as a guard. He excels in pass protection. He has short explosive kick steps that allow him to mirror and stay in front of his man. He has really heavy hands and a great anchor. He does a great job of stale mating even strong power rushes. Max is another player at a top program who’s had to wait his turn to get varsity action. I would expect that Koback would begin to get D1 attention this offseason and if he can put some good play on film this fall the offers could start to come.

Koback had a great day. To my knowledge he didn’t lose a 1v1 rep on the day. At 6’6 Max has good length and a thick build. He moves well for a young man his size. He has a great anchor and heavy hands that he uses to stonewall defenders. I’m excited to see if Koback can break into the varsity lineup this coming fall and what he puts on film.
