To wrap up our top five linebackers in the class of 2024 in the state of Kentucky, I have

. Malone had a strong junior season, finishing with 98 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, and seven sacks. He lines up as a stand up outside linebacker where he is a very dangerous pass rusher. Malone explodes out of his stance and uses his speed to blow by opposing offensive tackles off the edge. He plays with a very high motor, showing the ability and determination to keep working to get to the quarterback. Against the run, Malone does a great job of reading the play and getting to the ball quickly to make tackles in the open field. DeAndre doesn’t currently hold any offers but I expect some to come his way soon as he definitely has the talent to play at the next level.

from Male. Malone had an outstanding junior year, finishing with 98 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, seven sacks, and two forced fumbles. While he has seen snaps at both inside and outside linebacker, Malone played primarily in a stand up outside linebacker role this season. He is dangerous off the edge as a pass rusher, using a combination of speed and strength to beat opposing offensive tackles. Malone plays with a very high motor, continuing to work to get to the quarterback. Against the run, Malone does a great job of reading the play and using his speed to get to the ball carrier to make tackles in the open field. While he doesn’t currently hold any offers, Malone has received some college interest and definitely has the talent to be a very productive player at the next level.

is a junior linebacker that has been high on my radar for a while now that continued to impress during the playoffs. Malone played a key role in Male’s run to the 6A State Championship Game, finishing the playoffs with 38 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, four sacks, and a forced fumble. While he has played both inside and outside linebacker during his high school career, Malone mainly played off the edge as a stand up outside linebacker this season. As a pass rusher, Malone has a nice amount of bend and plays with a high motor, showing the ability to fight through blocks while working to get to the quarterback. Once he gets to the quarterback, Malone does a great job of running his feet through contact to secure the sack. Against the run, Malone has shown the ability to read the play and use his speed to run sideline to sideline to make tackles in the open field. While Malone doesn’t currently hold any offers, I expect some to come his way going into his senior year as he has the talent to play somewhere at the next level.

. He has some versatility to his game as he has played in both an inside and outside linebacker role. This season, he has mainly lined up on the outside where he is a force as a pass rusher. Malone has shown that he can rush from a stand up position or with his hand in the dirt and is very explosive out of his stance. He plays with a very high motor and has shown the ability to fight through blocks on his way to the quarterback. Once he gets to the quarterback, Malone finishes with a ton of physicality. Against the run, Malone does a great job of reading the play and reacting quickly to get to the ball. Malone doesn’t currently hold any official offers but I expect them to come soon as he has been receiving a ton of college interest and has the skill set to thrive at the college level.
