Singleton is shifty in space, he has a quick first step and his ability to win early in his routes enables him to get open consistently. Daylon has strong, soft hands, he engulfs the football and his superb vision allows him to track the football well. Singleton is a weapon in the return game on special teams, he sees the field well, which enables him to set up his blocks, he has the ability to cut on a dime and get north quickly, which led to multiple returns for six this past season. Daylon was a key contributor in the Desoto Eagles run to a state title in 2022. Singleton’s stock is up on the recruiting trail, with a recent offer from Texas A&M to go along with offers from Texas Tech, SMU, Miami, Utah and Oregon. Look for Singleton to continue to give defenses fits in 2023.
