Junior David Washington David Washington 5'8" | 185 lbs | RB Millard West | 2027 State NE looks set for a big year at RB, where he should take on a bigger role as the Wildcats settle in with a new QB under center. David ended last year as Millard West’s leading rusher with 80 carries for 332 yards and seven touchdowns. Washington also showed he can be a threat out of the backfield with 14 catches for 154 yards. David may not be the biggest back out there, but he does possess a strong, compact 5’9″, 185-pound frame that can bounce off of defenders. David plays with consistent pad level and a balanced base, making him difficult to bring down and allowing him to tack on additional yardage after initial contact. He sees the field very well and does a great job being patient behind his blockers. Once he finds a crease or open space, David has the burst to explode through his gaps and show off his 4.65 40-yard speed. Low tread on the tires should also bring extra appeal. Big season loading for David and company!
