Daisjaun Mercer Daisjaun Mercer 6'0" | 185 lbs | ATH Hopkinsville | 2023 State KY is a player that gets the job done on both sides of the ball for Hopkinsville but I liked what I saw most from him at receiver this season. Mercer finished his final regular season with 34 receptions for 722 yards and eight touchdowns. He has very impressive speed which he uses to run right by defensive backs in the deep passing game. Mercer is also a skilled route runner, using his quickness to create separation in his breaks. After the catch, he is able to use his speed and elusiveness to turn short passes into big gains. He has also shown promise as a ball carrier, running the ball 31 times for 230 yards and five touchdowns in the regular season. Mercer will also have value as a returner on special teams as he has the ability to break off on a long return at any moment. Daisjaun is committed to Miami (OH) where I see him being a key piece for them wherever they decide to play him.
