Cyrus Backus Cyrus Backus 5'8" | 155 lbs | DB Parkersburg | 2025 State WV has been a steady player for the Parkersburg Big Reds and he’s continued that into his senior year at the midseason point.

Backus is another smaller defensive back who’s very athletic and can run step for step with most receivers. He has fluid hips out of his breaks and changes direction quickly in coverage. Backus has a nose for the ball and has generated numerous interceptions in the past two years. He plays in space well and can close and recover on his man quickly. Backus is a prime candidate for Sprint and D3 looks this season.
