If you haven’t looked yet at Cooper’s camp tape from the Augustana camp this weekend, you might want to look sooner rather than later, as Cooper is yet another Sioux Falls Christian Charger on our 2028 Camp Jumpers list in South Dakota. His ability to aggrevate the receivers routes early in press-man is what quickly stood out from his reps he had on Memorial Day. He’s a pesky athlete in bump and run coverage as the persistency you will see with Cooper on his reps surely will translate to more attention from the next-level and in my eyes he might grade higher as a corner at the next-level.

One of the best quarterback tapes I found in South Dakota this week, came from 11A powerhouse Sioux Falls Christian and 2028 QB Cooper Strande Cooper Strande 6'1" | 190 lbs | ATH/QB Sioux Falls Christian | 2028 State SD . I was impressed with his ball placement for his age on both of his passing touchdowns. He also utilized the proper touch on both of those touchdowns allowing his wide receiver to utilize his size to his advantage over the top. I always love seeing athletes elevate their game at new poistions outside of where I have them ranked, which is the case with Cooper as a riser in this 2028 class.

The play-caller for the Chargers is off to a rockstar start. SFC is 5-0 and ranked #1 in 11A. This past Friday, Cooper completed 9 passes for 155 yards and 2 TD’s. He also ran for nearly 40 yards. In hoops, Strande is also a stud. I am not sure what role he will play this winter as SFC is absolutely loaded with talent. Either way, Cooper is a skilled, smart, athletic, and all-around playmaker.
