Gries was a major riser among Nevada’s LBs moving up nearly a hundred spots in the overall rankings with the productive senior season he put together. The 6’3″/235 linebacker recorded 100+ total tackles (52 solo), 4 sacks, and 14 TFLs in 2025. He’s a physical, tone-setting ILB that excels between the OTs as a hard-hitting run stopper. He has the size/frame to play inside backer at the next level but will need to continue to work on speeding up his processing and ability to get off blocks at the next level. Gries is a LB definitely worth taking a looking at.
