Thomas was one of the top defenders across the San Diego Section, and is a explosive and physical prospect that excels both against the run and pass from the inside or the edge. He is a natural bender, shows tremendous strength and power at the point of attack and uses his leverage well to get underneath blockers and has a diverse pass-rush skill-set using both speed and power to win inside or off the edge. He signed with San Jose State last month, and is a nice later add by the Spartans and is a high floor kid at the next level that should fit nicely in the Mountain West.
