Two years ago, Colten Cole Colten Cole 6'5" | TE Sulphur | 2026 State OK was leading the Bulldogs under center as a sophomore. He threw for over 2,000 yards and 25 touchdowns during the 2023 season. Last year, he converted to the tight end position because it made more sense, giving Sulphur’s depth and his physical size. And Cole ended up being a critical part of the Sulphur passing game and that ultimate safety blanket when the quarterback got in trouble. He finished with nearly 300 yards and two touchdowns receiving and he was also Sulphur’s kicker and punter. With the Bulldogs breaking in a new quarterback this season, look for Cole to once again be that safety blanket for the Sulphur offense.

Sulphur has the potential to have the top rushing attack in Class 3A but they also have an experienced and productive quarterback returning. So when they need to throw the ball, they’ll have one of the better quarterbacks in the class. Junior Colten Cole Colten Cole 6'5" | TE Sulphur | 2026 State OK had a breakout season during his sophomore year and became one of the top passers in 3A football. He threw for just over 2,000 yards despite Sulphur being a run-first offense. He also finished with 25 touchdowns. Throwing for over 2,000 yards and 25 touchdowns in his sophomore campaign definitely exceeded any preseason expectations. Cole will look to elevate his production this season.
