I might be higher than most on this kid, not sure what’s not to like. Schumm, at QB, can make throws on the run and on the go. I’d consider him a capable threat to beat defenses with his legs,  he can move the chains if you let him. Downfield vision is there, he’s willing to test a defense deep. As a scout, I’m interested to learn what coaches think this kid lacks. Schumm currently holds one offer from Lock Haven, who might actually be inclined to move his primary position to safety. Schumm is a legitimate safety prospect that flashes some athleticism. Not sure if his 6’4 frame takes him out of the running for future DB spots. Nonetheless, there’s potential to be unlocked here.

The size is more than desirable. Schumm has experience on both sides of the ball. Schumm can make throws at all levels of the field. The best part about Schumm, I think he hasn’t even unlocked his full potential. This young man is moldable, he’s got an FCS-floor grade out of me.
