Cole Bayer Cole Bayer 6'1" | 300 lbs | DL Central Catholic | 2026 State PA is a talented two-way lineman for Pittsburgh Central Catholic. As a defensive lineman, he shows a good ability to attack offenses off the ball. He thrives at making plays against offensive linemen by using his strength. Then, as an offensive lineman, he shows a good ability to combo block and drive defenders off the ball. He also moves his feet well and does a nice job of pulling and blocking defenders. Bayer is an underrated player on both sides of the ball.

He is an excellent run stopper as he is able to penetrate and create pressure in the offensive backfield. Bayer’s ability to push offensive linemen back is impressive, as he shows good strength. He should play even a higher level this year.

When you start watching Cole Bayer Cole Bayer 6'1" | 300 lbs | DL Central Catholic | 2026 State PA ‘s film, you think he is just a classic nose tackle who occupies blockers and does a good job against the run, but the more you dig into his film, the better it gets. Bayer is hard to move off his spot, and he is excellent against the run, but he is also good against the pass. He has perfected the bull rush, and he can pass rush against the offense by attacking them and moving the offensive lineman backward. His ability to stop the run and pass rush makes him a good defensive lineman.
