Some of the best testing numbers we saw recently at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcases came from Minot North’s Cian Hannon Cian Hannon 5'6" | 151 lbs | RB/DB Minot North | 2028 State ND . He’s not a running back that you probably want to see in the open field, as his burst amps up to his highest degree once he gets into the second level and offers danger with that speed especially around the edges. Another area where we saw Cian’s explosives come out for the Sentinels in 2025 was as a gunner on special teams as this young man was front and center for causing chaos for punters with how quickly he gets downhill with that gunner-type speed. The Seninels have one of the best backfieds in my eyes looking ahead at the 2026 season and you can expect that Cian will be in the mix to add to his stock in his junor season.

Cian was in our top-tier for testing numbers at our most recent Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase in Aberdeen. The 2028 RB out of 11AA runner up Minot North, is a speedster that can be a tough catch around the edges for linebackers and those in the secondary. He’s a heck of a weapon on special teams blocking punts and flying down to the punter with authority and motor he has for his age. Cian was most effective in motion where he can utilze his legs and vision in the open field. I would expect for him to have a more expanded role in the Sentinels offense in 2026.

Cian was a pure speester that got onto our radar quickly at our winter Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase as I thought the speed Cian produced was even more vivid in the live eval than what I saw pre-showcase the week before for the Minot North running back. He saw some success last year around the edges in jet-sweep situations as the speed even appears more apparently once Cian gets to the second level. Seeing him as a true gunner in punt return coverage unlocks an accelerator that just oozes with game speed and picks up steam quickly. You can expect Cian to have more expanded role in the Sentinels backfield come the 2026 season.
