Expert Analysis
Connor Jackson | Prep Redzone Scout
Gaiter is an extremely impressive DB prospect who has emerged as one of the best true corner prospects in the Atlanta area. He is cut and well-built on a 6’0 185 frame, well-equipped to get physical and set the tone against receivers in routes. After seeing him in person, he had more finesse than I initially expected. He is just a really impressive combination of power and finesse, which is what has tossed him firmly on the radar of D1/FBS programs.

Gaiter is a buzzy breakout player out of West Forsyth this offseason, and while I’ve watched him before, this is my first extended look. Gaiter is a well-rounded player, and I would be nitpicking to find much wrong with his game. He is a strong, cut, sturdy 6;0 185, which greatly benefits him in contested catch situations. He is a physical corner with some pop in his pads, but his finesse comes through as well. His feet are quick, smooth, and he attacks through the hands of receivers. He is plenty of capable of coming downhill to support as a tackler, too. I have an FBS grade on Gaiter, and I will continue to track this recruitment closely.

A physical defensive back on the rise in Forsyth County, Gaiter is an instinctive, tough defender who can make plays in coverage while bring a sure-tackler against the run. He plays hard, wraps up properly, and is one of the region’s top returning defensive backs for the 2026 season. This rising senior has his best football ahead of him and has a chance to impress some college coaches during spring practice down the road. If he continues to improve and play at a high level, Gaiter could be in store for a fantastic final season for the Wolverines.
