The second top tier talent honing from St. Thomas Aquinas, Chase is a two way starter that deserves recognition on both sides of the ball. As a running back, there are few things that can slow Chase down once he gets moving. If the defense allows Chase to build up speed and momentum, it becomes progressively more challenging to get him to the ground. He has a gritty running style and runs through arm tackles with ease and often keeps chugging along with defenders bouncing off him.
Between the tackles, Chase may be one of the most worrisome RBs to go up against. He took off for 1038 yards and 16 touchdowns in 2023, and I expect the same level of success this season. St. Thomas Aquinas’ offense will be firing on all cylinders with

. With his former running mate off and gone to college, Young will look to add to a 150 carry, 1038 yard, and 16 touchdown junior campaign. Some run on defense added to his stats with 39 tackles (8 solos), 6 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks. At times Young is too fast for pulling linemen, beating them to the hole. He also does a nice job of keeping the pile moving forward. A few times when I was watching his film I lost him in the scrum, only for him to pop out the other end for a big gainer. In my opinion Young profiles as more of a straight-ahead power back who will run you over and eek out tough yardage. One thing Young should be mindful of is to switch the ball to his outside arm when he breaks into the open field.
