His record-breaking night aside, I decided to take a look at Golden’s four-game tape posted about two weeks back. Kick return skills are immediately shown off, proving to coaches both Golden’s play-making ability, as well as his overall awareness in the open field. Unassuming in terms of build, yet the junior athlete proves he’s one of the tougher prospects to bring down, elite YAC-producer. Can be utilized in several different ways, a deep-ball threat all while being capable of chunk plays via screens at the LOS or in jet-sweep sets. This all before mentioning his prowess as a DB. If Golden can prove his speed to college coaches, he’s going to see a serious uptick in recruiting. Will be an easy prospect to rank, excited to do so.
