Wrapping up my top five quarterbacks in the class of 2023 is Simon Kenton’s Chase Crone Chase Crone 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB Simon Kenton | 2023 State KY . Crone had a tremendous senior year, completing 91/168 passes for 1,387 yards, 13 touchdowns, and five interceptions in ten games. He is a strong-armed quarterback with the ability to lead his receivers down the field in the deep passing game and fit passes into tight windows in the short/intermediate passing game. Crone also has a tremendous ability to escape the pocket and keep his eyes down the field to deliver passes on the run. While he is a very skilled passer, Crone is also a dangerous threat in the run game. Simon Kenton had several designed runs for him and Crone also was able to tuck the ball and run when nothing was there in the passing game. He finished the season with 133 carries for an impressive 971 yards and 19 touchdowns. Crone is committed to Thomas More University where I can see him becoming a very successful quarterback.
