Charlie Taafe Charlie Taafe 5'11" | 185 lbs | QB Vestavia Hills | 2027 State AL is a talented dual threat out of Vestavia Hills who made a ton of huge plays for his offense last fall. Taafe is a really fun QB to watch- he makes quick decisions, has a great arm, is extremely mobile, and can do so much with the ball in his hands. As a passer, Taafe accurately delivers the ball anywhere on the field- he does a great job reading defenses and consistently can find and accurately hit his WRs. Outside of his passing, Taafe is explosive and keeps defenses on their heels with his legs. Taafe is really quick on his feet, plays with great speed, and can make defenders miss when he’s on the run- consistently coming up with huge gains/scoring plays on the ground. Taafe was really productive for Vestavia’s offense last season, completing 98/151 passing attempts for 1361 yards and 9 touchdowns, with an additional 103 carries for 631 yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground.
