is a dominant DL from Vestavia Hills we can expect huge things from this upcoming season.
“Butler is a force on the interior who dominates the run nearly every snap. At 6’3 320, he has terrific pursuit, and consistently takes great angles to create hustle stops all along the line of scrimmage.
I’m really impressed with Butler’s quickness. He’s really fast at his size and can spin, swim, and fly through blockers to get to the ball carrier. You rarely see a DL as large, strong, and quick on his feet as Butler. I think he’s going to have a huge year on Vestavia Hills’ front this upcoming fall. There’s a ton to like with his game.”
Butler has picked up two new offers from North Alabama and ETSU within the last week.
I think Butler has a huge season ahead of him this upcoming fall. He’s a dominant defender who really impressed this past fall. Make sure you take a look at his film below:

Butler brings next-level size and strength to the interior. He routinely absorbs double teams and maintains ground, showing grip strength and hand usage to disengage when necessary.
His rip and swim moves give him more than just anchor value. He’s not afraid to use his hands aggressively to find the ball. With sustained motor and leverage control, he projects as a disruptive run stopper with pass-rush upside.

is a defensive line prospect out of Vestavia Hills that showed a lot of good things on tape throughout his freshman season. Butler can make a lot happen in the trenches- he has a great burst off the line of scrimmage, has lots of power, and plenty of pursuit skills that allow him to frequently impact the ball carrier. It didn’t matter if it was against the run or pass, Butler was able to find a way to slow down the opposing team. He has become such a big presence on Vestavia’s defensive front already as an underclassmen, keep watch of him over these next few seasons to see how well he’s preforming!
