Elgin had the benefit of having a three-year starter at the quarterback position last fall and now they have to replace him. But like we mentioned earlier, they have a guy that’s been just waiting for his opportunity to become QB1 and there’s a chance that the Owls don’t miss a step with him lining up under center. Junior Cayden Belletto Cayden Belletto 6'1" | 175 lbs | QB Elgin | 2027 State OK will be going into his first season at quarterback and a lot will be put on his shoulders and they are big shoes to fill after what we’ve seen from their offense over the last few years. But Belletto really impressed us when we got a chance to watch him in the spring. He had full control of the offense and didn’t look like a QB that was going into his first season as a starter.
