I’ve seen many players like Carter over the years. He’s a big, powerful offensive lineman, and the upside is clear. I watched Carter in person for a few series against Caledonia. There, I was satisfied with his effort, as he always played to the whistle. Additionally, he was a consistnet force in the run game, always getting to his spots, and moving defenders.

Carter is still a little raw fundamentally. His footwork and foot speed can absolutely improve. Additionally, he needs to be more balanced when run and pass blocking. He moves a bit slower than other tackles, but that’s expected when you’re 6’7″. Still, I’ve got him ranked #63 in the state, and I’m expecting college interest to spike this spring.
